我是海倫。一直以來，我熱衷於生活、熱衷於書寫生活裡的種種；和筆相與多年，我仍相信筆下有夢想可追，也深信在人生的逆旅中，仍可尋得世間的真善美。因此，我希望將世間的色彩堆疊於畫布之上，並用筆以另一種方式把美好的事物記錄下來。 我創作的油畫裡，有人像、風景、動植物，也有對我別具意義的佛像和菩薩像——作畫除了是為世界留下的痕跡，也是我的一場修行。描繪佛與菩薩像的一筆一畫，彷彿在生活裡累積、創造的因緣，教我領略佛理中的慈、悲、喜、捨。 畫是我心映照的景象，自然與我聯繫緊密，可作品的觀者與作者同樣重要。在此展示畫作，望能讓你在急促的步伐中稍作停歇、使雙眼在暫時的灰暗中重明，並憶起生活那些絢麗可愛的部分。

I am Helen. I have always been passionate about life and writing about it. After many years with the company of my pen, I still believe that beneath it are dreams to pursue; and that in the arduous journey of life, truth, goodness and beauty in the world can still be sought. I hope to lay the canvas with colours of the world, and to capture the beauty of life with a pen diversely.

My oil paintings include portraits of people, landscapes, as well as animals and plants; but those that are especially close to me are portraits of Buddha and Bodhisattva statues. Painting to me is not only a trace of the sights of the world, but also a spiritual practice- each stroke that combines into solemnity reminds me of the deeds that accumulates in our own lives, which allows me to recognise and practice the values of kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity in Buddhism.

Art is what I see with my heart, which connects me deeply with my work. However, the viewers of art is as important as its creator. Having many of my work displayed on this platform, I wish that you may rest from your hasty pace of life, let your eyes shine again amids the temporary darkness that blinds, and recall the beauty you once saw in life.
